CON_は、2025年7月11日（金）から8月17日（日）まで、佐藤瞭太郎とPrius Missileによる2人展「We Are The World」を開催いたします。 ----- マイケル・ジャクソンとライオネル・リッチーらの共作に、40年前の世界は弾け飛んだ。 ポップする主語たちはますます巨大になって、いまや笑うに笑えない。大げさなスピーチの身振りはひどく捻じ曲がり、群衆が振動する。アイロニカルな響きをよそに、行進は止まらない。統合の快楽に身を委ねさせられながら、シリアスは空転を続ける。 佐藤瞭太郎とPrius Missileの二人展「We Are The World」。 不穏な拍手喝采を浴びながら、歪んだアセットたちの築く偽世界が弾ける。 CON_ is pleased to present We Are The World, a duo exhibition by Ryotaro Sato and Prius Missile, from 11 July (Fri) to 17 August (Sun) 2025. The exhibition features all new works by both artists. ----- Forty years ago, the world erupted with the collaborative work by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. The subjects of pop have grown ever larger — so much so that it's no longer something we can laugh at. The dramatic grand gestures of speech have become grotesquely distorted, and the crowd trembles. Despite the ironic echoes, the parade marches on. As we are swept up in the pleasure of unity, seriousness spins itself into futility. "We Are The World" — a duo exhibition by Ryotaro Sato and Prius Missile. Amid the sound of unsettling applause, an artificial world assembled from distorted assets bursts into being. 佐藤瞭太郎 / Ryotaro Sato アーティスト。1999年北海道生まれ。神奈川県在住。資産として流通するデータを収集し、写真、映像、ゲームなどのイメージを参照しつつ編集することで今日のインターネットを描写する作品を制作している。近年は、現代のイメージメイキングにおけるデータ、ソフトウェア、プラットフォームなどに着目し、想像力の生産関係をテーマに制作を行う。主な展示に、「マシン・ラブ：ビデオゲーム、AIと現代アート」（森美術館、2025年）、「変形する無機物」（トーキョーアーツアンドスペース本郷、2023年）、「多層世界とリアリティのよりどころ」（NTTインターコミュニケーション・センター［ICC］、2022年）など。 Prius Missile｜丹羽隆介 / Ryusuke Niwa 1998年香港生まれ、東京都育ち。人工音声や君が代といったモチーフを通じて、国家や制度、ナショナリズムといったテーマに取り組む。社会的背景を内包した音響と、文化的コードとしての音楽を行き来しながら、楽曲、映像、立体といった形式によるプロジェクトを展開している。 Ryotaro Sato Artist. Born in 1999 in Hokkaido, currently based in Kanagawa, Japan. He collects data circulated as assets and edits it while referencing images from photography, video, games, and other media to depict the current state of the internet. In recent years, he has focused on data, software, and platforms involved in contemporary image-making, exploring the relations of production surrounding imagination. Major exhibitions include "MACHINE LOVE: Video Game, AI and Contemporary Art" (Mori Art Museum, 2025), "Inorganic Friends" (Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo, 2023), and "Viewpoints of Reality in the Multi-layered World" (NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC], 2022). Prius Missile | Ryusuke Niwa Born in 1998 in Hong Kong, raised in Tokyo. Through motifs such as artificial voices and Kimigayo (Japan's national anthem), the artist explores themes related to nationhood, institutions, and nationalism. Moving between socially embedded sound and music as a cultural code, they develop projects across forms including music, video, and sculpture.
