不完全な日常 加速する主観の都市における「ちぐはぐな身体」の彫刻 都市はひとつではない。無数の主観、認知、思想によって歪められた世界が、並列しながら重なり合っている。 情報と資本の流通が加速し、あらゆる視点が交換可能になった現在、かつて都市を支えていた「大きな物語」は力を弱めた。代わりに現れたのは、互いにずれた輪郭を持つ複数の世界である。 そのとき、私たちの身体はどこにあるのか。都市−社会−世界はグローバルな速度で接続され続けている。しかし身体は常に「ここ」にしか存在できない。触覚、重さ、距離といった極めてローカルな感触の中でしか、世界を実感できない。 本展《不完全な日常》では、このスケールの不一致を「ちぐはぐな身体」と捉える。 板垣竜馬、宇留野圭、大塚諒平の三者は、それぞれの方法でこのズレを彫刻として物質化する。彼らの作品は完成された像ではなく、均衡を取り続ける不安定な構造、落下寸前で静止する力、触れれば崩れそうな緊張として存在する。 都市空間に潜在する緊張とは、物理的な構造だけではない。それは無数の主観が交差し、互いに歪み合いながらも統合されない状態そのものである。制度の気配もまた、単一の秩序ではなく、並列する視点が重なりながら生む圧力として現れる。 彫刻はその歪みを一時的に可視化する装置となる。完成された都市は存在しない。存在するのは、常にずれ続ける現在だけである。 会期：2026年3月31日(火) – 4月8日(水) 開廊時間：11:00–20:00（最終日は17:00まで） 会場：渋谷ヒカリエ 8階 8/ COURT アーティスト：板垣竜馬、宇留野圭、大塚諒平 レセプション：2026年4月8日(水) 18:00–19:30 4月8日18時より、出展作家3名とゲスト・瀬下翔太氏によるトークショーを開催予定（事前申込不要） 画像：宇留野圭《11の部屋》2024 板垣竜馬 2021年、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科彫刻専攻を修了。空間、方位、時間、大地、宇宙といった、普段は意識せずとも存在する既成概念を、現代のパースペクティブから再定義・再解釈することで、現代における消失点を探る制作を行う。天動説から地動説へ宇宙体系が変化したことに焦点を当て、現代の情報社会における信仰などをもとに、デバイス内に存在する位置情報を中心とした新たな宇宙体系「新天動説」を提唱し、その「新天動説」を起点とした作品制作を展開する。 Instagram：@ryoma_itagaki 宇留野圭 1993年、岐阜県生まれ。2021年に名古屋芸術大学美術科を卒業、2023年に同大学大学院美術研究科修士課程を修了。機械部品の鋳造に携わった経験を経て、美術領域での実践を開始。自身を取り巻く生活世界や絵画、舞台芸術などから着想を得ながら、身近な事象を基軸に、機械や舞台装置の構造を取り入れた立体作品やインスタレーションを展開している。 Instagram：@kei_uruno 大塚諒平 1992年、東京都生まれ。2022年、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科博士後期課程を修了。身体をとおした経験や体験に関心を寄せる。近年のテーマは「情報と実感、ちぐはぐな身体」「現実はどこにあるの？」。 Instagram：@ryohei.otsuka 作品に関するお問い合わせは info@contokyo.com までご連絡ください。 Incomplete Daily Life Sculpture of the "Disjointed Body" in Cities of Accelerating Subjectivity The city is not singular. Worlds warped by countless subjectivities, perceptions, and ideologies overlap while running in parallel. As the circulation of information and capital accelerates and all perspectives become interchangeable, the "grand narratives" that once supported the city have weakened. In their place have emerged multiple worlds with misaligned contours. Where, then, are our bodies? City—society—world continues to be connected at global speed. Yet the body can only ever exist "here." We can only truly feel the world through intensely local sensations: touch, weight, distance. In this exhibition, Incomplete Daily Life, we understand this mismatch of scale as the "disjointed body." Ryoma Itagaki, Kei Uruno, and Ryohei Otsuka each materialize this discrepancy as sculpture in their own way. Their works exist not as completed forms, but as unstable structures that continuously maintain balance, forces frozen on the verge of collapse, and tensions that seem ready to crumble at the slightest touch. The latent tension in urban space is not merely physical structure. It is the very state in which countless subjectivities intersect and distort one another without ever being unified. The presence of institutions, too, appears not as a single order, but as pressure generated by overlapping parallel perspectives. Sculpture becomes a device that temporarily makes this distortion visible. There is no completed city. There is only the present, perpetually out of alignment. Image: Kei Uruno, 11 no Heya (11 Rooms), 2024 Ryoma Itagaki Completed the MA in Sculpture at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2021. Their practice searches for the vanishing point of the present by redefining and reinterpreting givens such as space, direction, time, earth, and cosmos — categories that persist without being consciously noticed — from a contemporary perspective. Drawing on the historical shift from geocentrism to heliocentrism, and on forms of belief within today's information society, they propose a new cosmological system, "Neo-Geocentrism" (新天動説), centered on the location data residing inside our devices, and develop their work from this premise. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Nagoya University of the Arts, in 2021, and completed the MA in Fine Arts at the same university in 2023. After working in the casting of mechanical components, they began their practice within the field of art. Drawing inspiration from the everyday world surrounding them, as well as from painting and the performing arts, they develop sculptures and installations grounded in familiar phenomena and incorporating the structures of machines and stage devices.
